Andrea Fagundez

Andrea Fagundez is the Program Director at Highline Beta. Andrea has over ten years of experience in international trade and investment, program management, and business development.

Andrea started their career as a Business Analyst with the City of Toronto. Andrea then transitioned to UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) where they worked as an Advisor for five years. In this role, they provided support to UK-based companies looking to expand into new markets.

In 2016, Andrea moved back to Canada and joined the Toronto Region Board of Trade as a Program Manager. In this role, they oversaw the Market Activation Program, which helps companies expand into new markets. Andrea was instrumental in growing the program from two to eight trade missions per year.

Due to the pandemic, Andrea shifted the program from in-person to virtual events. Under their leadership, the program has continued to be successful despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

Andrea has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Andrea also has a Diploma on Governability & Political Management from the same school. In addition, they have an International Diploma in Hydrocarbons Business Management from IESA with a focus on the Oil & Gas industry. Andrea also has a Certification in Sustainability from IPADE Business School and a Certification in Foundation of Project Management from the University of Toronto. Lastly, they are currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Ivey Business School at Western University.
