Alan Nguyen serves as the Director of Advising for Running Start at Highline College since September 2025. Prior to this role, Alan held the position of Associate Director at Seattle University, where strategic initiatives were implemented to enhance international student success and engagement. Alan's extensive background also includes a management role in International Admissions and SEVIS at Green River College, overseeing operations for over 1,400 international students and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Additionally, Alan has experience in student transitions, orientation, and immigration advising, and has worked in various capacities in the education sector since 2009. Alan earned an MBA from Seattle University and holds a BASc in Network and System Administration from Green River College, along with a BA in History from Washington State University.
