Melinda Hurst Frye

Melinda Hurst Frye is an experienced educator and artist specializing in photography, currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Seattle University, Cornish College of the Arts, and Highline College since 2019 and 2021, respectively. Additionally, Melinda is a Faculty Member at Photographic Center Northwest since 2017 and operates as a Photographer/Artist under the name M Hurst Frye since 2004. Previous roles include Photography Faculty at The Art Institutes from 2007 to 2019 and Photography Professor at Savannah College of Art & Design from 2006 to 2009. Melinda holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in General Fine Arts with a focus on Printmaking from Pacific Northwest College of Art.
