Sarah Semroc

Sarah Semroc is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Director of Budget Strategy and Human Resources Partner at Highline Public Schools since July 2019. Prior to this role, Sarah worked as an IB Language & Literature and ELL teacher at Mount Rainier High School from August 2015 to June 2019, as well as a summer school ELA 10 teacher at Pioneer High School in mid-2015. Sarah's teaching experience includes student teaching positions at Southfield-Lathrup High School and Detroit Public Schools Community District. An active participant in the academic community during undergraduate studies, Sarah was a Resident Assistant at Michigan State University and served as a Language Partner for international graduate students. Sarah holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Washington Tacoma and multiple degrees from Michigan State University, including a Master’s in Teaching and Curriculum.
