Kannu Sahni

Kannu Sahni serves as the Vice President of Community Affairs at Highmark Health since July 2017, overseeing initiatives for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and Allegheny Health Network. Prior roles include Director of Community Affairs at Highmark and Allegheny Health Network, and Vice Chair of the PA Governor's Advisory Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs. Kannu's extensive experience at the University of Pittsburgh includes serving as Director of Community Relations, where community partnerships and outreach were prioritized, and as a faculty member teaching Human Resources. Early career positions include managing operations for GE Advisors and AAMCO, co-founding a loyalty payment system, and working in employment counseling at Jewish Family & Children's Service. Kannu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate status in Public Policy, a Master of Public Policy & Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, complemented by executive education from The Wharton School in Leading Change.
