Nebeyou Abebe

Nebeyou Abebe currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Social Determinants of Health at Highmark Health, where responsibilities include overseeing SDOH strategy and solution development across Highmark Inc. and Allegheny Health Network. Prior to this role, Nebeyou Abebe was the Global Head of Health & Wellbeing at Sodexo, managing a comprehensive health strategy across multiple sectors globally, impacting 100 million consumers. At the Louisiana Public Health Institute, Nebeyou Abebe contributed to significant healthcare system transformations and engagement initiatives in the Greater New Orleans area, and previously provided strategic communications for healthcare at MSLGROUP and directed a national health communication campaign at the American Institutes for Research. Nebeyou Abebe holds a Master’s degree in Social and Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
