Sean Bellus

Sean Bellus is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in healthcare management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Health Plan Operations at Highmark Health since 2018, Sean leads a global team of over 4,000 professionals and oversees various operations including enrollment, billing, claims, and appeals. Prior experience includes roles at Cigna, where Sean managed international teams and complex operations with a focus on legislative compliance and operational efficiency, as well as positions at Cognizant and Humana that involved strategic planning and execution in healthcare operations. Sean's career began at JPMorgan Chase & Co., with foundational experience in consumer credit operations and leadership at Alliance Data. Sean holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Finance from Wright State University and The Ohio State University.
