Robert Picard has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on alternative investments. Robert has held various leadership positions at different companies. From 1995 to 2001, they served as a Managing Director at RBC Capital Risk Advisors. Robert then became a Director at RBC Dominion Securities from 1995 to 1998. In 2002, they were appointed as a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group/The Rock Creek Group. From 2004 to 2008, Picard worked as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Research at Optima Fund Management. Robert then joined Lyxor Asset Management as a Managing Director from 2010 to 2011. Currently, they are employed as the Head of Alternative Investments at Hightower Advisors since June 2022.
Robert Picard attended College de Geneve in Geneva, Switzerland from 1979 to 1983. Robert then went on to study at the University of Geneva's Law School in Geneva, Switzerland from 1983 to 1985. No degree name or field of study was provided for either education experience.
