Amanda leads our dedicated healthcare property team, supporting a wide range of public and private healthcare organisations to achieve their strategic goals, and make the most effective use of their estates.

Qualifying as a solicitor in 2002, and with over 18 years’ experience in commercial property, Amanda heads our dedicated healthcare property team, which acts for more than 100 healthcare organisations nationally. These include foundation trusts and trusts, CCGs, Commissioning Support Units, primary care providers, national NHS bodies including NHS England, Health Education England, and NHS Property Services, together with a range of private healthcare providers.

Amanda offers a wide range of support to her clients including conducting significant estates rationalisation programmes, including due diligence and consolidation exercises. She meets regularly with estate managers to review the extent of their estate to identify surplus land or to put in to effect Estate Code compliant leases, and offers general landlord and tenant management support.

Amanda has been instructed on a wide range of complex commercial property contracts, which include overage and clawbacks, as well as conditional contracts to satisfy planning obligations and building works to land and premise in the private and public sectors.

In addition to acting for healthcare bodies, Amanda has also acted for other public bodies including the Ministry of Defence and Department for Education.
