Pete Buchholz

Pete Buchholz, P.E., CCM is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as First Vice President and Project Director for Midwest Operations at Hill International, Inc. since January 2019. In this role, Buchholz oversees the Capital Improvements Program for the City of Columbus, focusing on vital water infrastructure projects including dams, reservoirs, and treatment plant upgrades. Prior experience includes project management roles at ASI Constructors and TREVIICOS, as well as a position as Quality Control System Manager. Buchholz began a career in civil and environmental engineering with Los Alamos Technical Associates and served as a Boatswain's Mate with the U.S. Coast Guard, specializing in search and rescue and law enforcement. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University.
