Ruth Villalonga

Vice President, Communications For Ford Motor Company at Hill & Knowlton

Ruth Villalonga has had an extensive work experience spanning from 2006 to present. Ruth began their career as a Public Speaking Instructor at SUNY Brockport and later worked at Vision Media Marketing as a PR Account Executive & Spanish Content Director. Ruth then joined the City of New York as a Communications and Outreach Manager in the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence. Ruth further expanded their experience at MetroPlus Health Plan as the Director of Corporate Communications. Ruth went on to work at WellPoint as the Business Development Director for Multicultural Marketing and later joined Molina Healthcare as an Associate Vice President for Community Engagement. Ruth then joined Wells Fargo, where they held several roles including Vice President of Corporate Communications, VP of Public Affairs Communications for the Wells Fargo Foundation, and Enterprise Diversity & Inclusion Co-Chair for the Latin Connection ERG. Most recently, they have been Vice President of DE&I Communications for Ford Motor Company at Hill+Knowlton Strategies. Throughout their career, Ruth has demonstrated expertise in communications, community engagement, diversity and inclusion, and public affairs.

Ruth Villalonga has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, obtained between the years 1997 and 2002. Ruth also holds a Master's degree in Political Communication from SUNY Brockport, obtained between the years 2005 and 2007. In 2018, Ruth attended the Latino Leadership Development Program at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Additionally, they are expected to obtain a certification in the Hispanic & Latino Executive Leadership Program from McKinsey & Company in the year 2023.
