Dave Gioia

Dave Gioia has over 15 years of work experience in the legal field. Dave currently serves as an Assistant General Counsel at Hill Physicians Medical Group since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Western Health Advantage for 10 years, starting as a Staff Attorney in April 2011 and later promoted to Senior Attorney in April 2014. During their time at Western Health Advantage, they provided legal advice on all aspects of health plan operations and maintained expertise on healthcare regulations. Before joining Western Health Advantage, Dave worked as a Staff Counsel at the California Department of Public Health from April 2008 to April 2011. Dave also served as a Staff Counsel at CalSTRS from June 2006 to April 2008.
