Tamika Mitchell, M.S., PHR, SHRM-CP has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Tamika is currently serving as the VP of Human Resources at Hilldrup, a moving and storage company. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring consistent growth, financial stability, and sustainability for the company.

Prior to their current position, Tamika held the role of Head of Human Resources at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Here, they supervised a team of four and developed HR strategies aligned with business needs.

Tamika also served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at USAC, where they supervised 25 direct reports and implemented HR processes and policies to support the operational mission. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Human Resources at USAC, overseeing core HR activities and strategic programs.

Tamika's previous experience includes roles such as Director of Human Resources at Erickson Living, Sr. Human Resources Manager at Ricoh USA, Inc., Human Resources Administrator at Penton, and Recruiter at Clayton. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in talent management, HR strategy, recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development.

Tamika holds a Master's degree and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Tamika has a proven track record of achieving high retention rates, employee satisfaction, and success in organizational growth.

Tamika Mitchell, M.S., PHR, SHRM-CP obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mass Communication and Management from Southern Connecticut State University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Tamika then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources and Counseling from the University of Bridgeport, which they completed between 2001 and 2002.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Tamika Mitchell has also obtained various certifications. Tamika earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) in 2004. That same year, they also acquired the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Furthermore, Mitchell holds the LeadingAge Educator designation from LeadingAge since 2004.

More recently, they completed the Civil Treatment Basics Course offered by Employment Learning Innovations, Inc. in 2016. In 2017, Mitchell undertook the Coaching for Engagement and Performance program provided by the Human Capital Institute, further expanding their expertise in the field.
