Adina Danzig Epelman

Vice President, Engagement And Impact at Hillel

Adina Danzig Epelman has a strong background in leadership and engagement within the Jewish community. Adina worked at Hillel International from 2015, where they held various roles including Vice President of Engagement and Impact. Prior to that, they worked at the Jewish Community Federation as a Program Officer for Regional Grantmaking from 2011 to 2015. Adina also had a consulting business from 2010 to 2011, where they provided services such as executive coaching, grant management, and program evaluation. Adina began their career at Hillel at Stanford in 2000, where they served as the Executive Director and later as the Associate Director. During their tenure, they successfully completed a large capital campaign, construction projects, and established an endowment fund. Adina's experience demonstrates their expertise in fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational development in the Jewish community.

Adina Danzig Epelman began their education in 1988 at UCLA, where they studied Political Science for two years. From 1990 to 1991, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, studying Political Science as well. Adina then continued their education at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1991 to 1993, earning a B.A. in Political Science. In 1998, they pursued further studies at New York University and the Jewish Theological Seminary simultaneously. At NYU, they obtained an M.P.A. with a focus on Non-Profit Management, while at the Jewish Theological Seminary, they completed their M.A. in Modern Jewish Studies.
