Alisa Koyrakh

Alisa Koyrakh has extensive experience in marketing and development roles. Alisa is currently working at Hillel International, where they started as a Marketing and Development Manager in August 2020 and progressed to become an Assistant Director, Campus Marketing and Fundraising in September 2021. Alisa then served as an Associate Director of Marketing and Development from April 2022 until July 2022, when they were promoted to Director of Marketing And Development. In July 2023, they further advanced to the position of Senior Director of Marketing and Development.

Prior to their time at Hillel International, Alisa worked as a Communications and Development Associate at North Carolina Hillel from January 2019 to August 2020.

Before entering the non-profit industry, Alisa worked as a Composition Teacher at Achievement First from January 2017 to July 2018.

Alisa also gained teaching experience as an Adjunct Instructor at New York University from September 2015 to May 2016.

Alisa has a background in editorial work, having served as the Managing Editor and Assistant Managing Editor for Washington Square Review from July 2014 to May 2016.

Alisa started their career at Welcome Books in September 2012, where they worked as a Project Director and Assistant to the Publisher until August 2014.

Additionally, Alisa gained experience in the publishing industry as an Editorial Intern at Simon and Schuster for the summer of 2011.

Alisa'searliest work experience was as a Web Development Assistant at Barnard College, where they worked from August 2008 to May 2011.

Alisa Koyrakh completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature from Barnard College, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Later, they pursued their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from New York University, from 2014 to 2016.
