Gil Klein-Cohen has a diverse work experience. Gil started as a Lifeguard at the YMCA of the USA in 2018, where they learned valuable skills in professionalism and customer service. In 2020, they worked as a Lifeguard at the Eichler Swim and Tennis Club, gaining experience in lifeguarding, front desk duties, pool maintenance, and general membership. In 2022, Gil became the Treasurer of the Phi Chi Theta Business Fraternity, and later in the same year, they served as the VP of Finance at Hillel International. In 2023, Gil took on multiple leadership roles, becoming the President of Chico Hillel and the Treasurer of the Materials Research Society. Gil'swork experience showcases their competence in various fields and their ability to take on responsibilities.

Gil Klein-Cohen attended Gunn High School from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained their High School Diploma. After completing high school, they enrolled at California State University, Chico, in 2021 and is expected to graduate in 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Business Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Gil has also obtained various certifications. In December 2018, they earned the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate (Additional Specialties) from the American Red Cross. Gil further enhanced their skills by obtaining the Universal Lifeguard Certificate from American Lifeguard in March 2021. Additionally, Gil acquired the Food Handler Cards certification from Premier Food Safety in December 2019.
