William Engel

William Engel has extensive experience in HR technology and transformation roles. William is currently working as a Senior Director of HR Technology at Hillenbrand. Prior to this, they worked at TIAA as a Senior Director and Executive HR Technology Manager, where they led the transition to Workday, reduced vendor spend, and implemented various HR digital initiatives. Before TIAA, William was a Practice Director at KPMG Advisory, focusing on HR transformation initiatives and cloud readiness assessments. William also served as a Global Director of HRIS at Harsco Corporation, where they implemented global HRIS systems and processes. William's earlier experience includes roles at IBM Global Business Services as a Senior Managing Consultant/Project Manager, Oracle Corporation as a PeopleSoft Consultant/Project Manager, and Perot Systems Corporation as an HR and Recruiting Operations Manager.

William Engel obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Meteorology from Penn State University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. William then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Information Systems at Hardin-Simmons University from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their degrees, William also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
