Jose Zhao

Jose Zhao has a strong background in quality assurance and risk management within the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries. Jose served as the Vice President of Quality Assurance at Hillrom, where they oversaw the design assurance organization and led a global team. Prior to that, they worked at Amgen as the Director of Digital Quality and Risk Management, where they launched the company's Digital Quality function and led various digital transformation initiatives. Before that, they held positions at Gilead Sciences and Genentech, where they implemented IT quality management systems and managed validation teams.

Jose Zhao earned a Bachelor of Biology degree in Zoology from Zhejiang University. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology/Animal Biology at Lamar University. Later, they attended the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Operations and Information Technology.
