Shakil Quazi

Shakil Quazi has a wealth of experience in the finance industry, specializing in fixed income sales and trading. Shakil currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Corporate/High Yield Fixed Income Sales at Hilltop Securities Inc., a role they began in 2022. Prior to this, Shakil spent five years working at FHN Financial, where they served as Senior Vice President, High Yield Fixed Income Sales & Trading. During their time at FHN Financial, they successfully established the bank's high yield institutional fixed income and distressed group, opening over 50 new accounts and consistently ranking among the top salespersons.

Before joining FHN Financial, Shakil worked for R.W.Pressprich as a Managing Director, Global Cross Asset Sales from 2003 to 2017. In this role, they focused on high yield, stressed, and distressed sales, generating new business from major asset managers, insurance companies, and hedge funds in various cities. Shakil maintained a strong track record and consistently ranked as a top salesperson in the department.

Earlier in their career, Shakil held the position of Vice President, Emerging Market Debt Trader & Sovereign Analyst at Invesco from 1997 to 2000. Shakil played a crucial role in security selection, analysis, trading, and CDO hedging.
