Matthias Mager has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Matthias started their career as a Banquet and Restaurant Supervisor at Christchurch Harbour Hotels and Spa in 2010. In 2011, they moved to Hilton Hotels in Munich, where they worked as a Reservations Coordinator. In 2012, Matthias joined Hilton Worldwide as a Conference and Events Executive, and later became a Conference and Events Sales Executive. In 2015, they transitioned to Hilton Hotels Worldwide, where they worked as an Assistant Manager of Conference and Events, followed by roles as an Assistant Director of Conference and Events and Assistant Director of Conference and Events Service. Since 2019, Matthias has been serving as the Director of Events Services (Event Sales/Planning) at Hilton Sydney.
Matthias Mager completed their A-Level education in Languages at the Carl - von - Ossietzky Gymnasium in Bonn from 1995 to 2007. Later, they pursued an Associate's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management at the Städtische Berufsschule für das Hotel-, Gaststätten- und Braugewerbe München from 2007 to 2009.
