Arun Kumar

Arun Kumar has extensive experience in the aluminium manufacturing sector, having worked at Hindalco Industries Limited since 1989. Currently serving as Senior President of Operations and Planning, Arun Kumar leads the manufacturing of downstream products including flat rolled products, extrusions, foil, and specialty casting, while also overseeing downstream projects. Previously, Arun Kumar held a variety of leadership roles within Hindalco, including President of the Hirakud Smelter and Power Plant complex, President of Novelis India Cell, and Factory Head for various operations, such as the Flat Rolled Factory in Taloja and the Aluminium Extrusions factory. Arun Kumar's career began as a mechanical engineer at Uptron, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Production Technology from the Madras Institute of Technology Campus.
