Lyle McDonald

Lyle McDonald has over nine years of work experience. Lyle began their career in 2014 as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy. In this role, they managed the operations and maintenance of complex systems, the sailors who manned those systems, and the missions they supported. Lyle also earned a Department of Energy certification for nuclear-plant supervision via practical training and classroom study. In 2022, they joined AERMOR as an Analyst for system test and evaluation. Here, they were responsible for test planning and technical writing/editing for Navy surface and aviation systems. In 2023, Lyle joined HiOperator as the Director of Operations. Lyle was responsible for stewarding and developing relationships with clients and refining internal operations, including incremental improvements to proprietary AI-powered software. Lyle also supervised an operations team of 40 local-site and 15 remote-site agents.

Lyle McDonald began their education in 2003 at St. Mark's School of Texas. In 2010, they enrolled at the United States Naval Academy and earned a BSE in Engineering (Naval Architecture) in 2014. Lyle also obtained a Fundamentals of Engineering certification from NCEES in April 2014. In December 2014 they obtained a Top Secret-SCI security clearance from the United States Federal Government. In 2016, McDonald completed Nuclear Engineering Watch Officer training with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Lyle also completed Nuclear Engineer Officer training with Naval Reactors in December 2017 and obtained a Cryptographic Material Account Manager (KOAM) certification from the National Security Agency in April 2018.
