DJ Disco Wiz is a prominent figure in the hip-hop community, recognized as Hip-Hop's first Latino DJ. Currently serving as an author at Powerhouse Books since 2008, DJ Disco Wiz co-authored the memoir "It's Just Begun: The Epic Journey of DJ Disco Wiz Hip-Hop's First Latino DJ." As the founder and producer for the Coalition for the Homeless, DJ Disco Wiz has worked to bridge the connection between old school and new school hip-hop, emphasizing its role in social movements.
