Karan Singh

Karan Singh's work experience begins in 2016 as a Marketing Intern at SunPower Corporation. In 2018, they become an Office Coordinator at Gusto and also starts working as a Copy Editor at HarperCollins Publishers. At HarperCollins, they are responsible for line editing, proofreading, and fact-checking manuscripts, writing blurbs and press releases for upcoming novels, and collaborating with authors on book design and marketing. Karan also manages the company blog and the monthly Harper Broadcast newsletter. Karan leaves both positions in 2021.

In 2022, Karan works as a News Writer at MXDWN.COM and then transitions to a role as a Theater & Web Series Reporter at A Hot Set. Karan also writes as a freelancer during this time. In 2022, they become an EDM Reporter at Exron Music. In 2023, Karan serves as a Staff Writer at Respect My Region and then as a News Writer at HipHopDX.

Karan Singh began their education at The Doon School, where they completed their Standard XII in Humanities from 2007 to 2013. Karan then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2013 to 2017. Currently, Karan is enrolled in the University of Southern California, where they are pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Journalism, which they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2022.
