Alberto Romero Murillo

Alberto Romero Murillo has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Alberto started their career as a Commercial Banking Officer at Caja Madrid in 2007 and then moved on to Barclays as a Manager of Commercial Banking in 2008. Alberto later joined Legorburo Consultores as a Senior Manager of Corporate Finance in 2008, where they analyzed investment opportunities. In 2016, they transitioned to Hipoges as a Senior Asset Manager of Corporate NPLs, managing portfolios like Ocean, Babieca, and Sevilla projects. Alberto then progressed to the role of Portfolio Manager in 2018, leading the Makalu Project with a portfolio worth €1.5Bn. Currently, Alberto serves as an Associate Director, overseeing Corporate NPLs at Hipoges.

Alberto Romero Murillo has a comprehensive education history. Alberto obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, specializing in Finance. Alberto attended from 2002 to 2007. Following this, Alberto pursued executive programs at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros. In 2008 and 2009, they completed an Executive Program in Business Valuation, and in 2014 and 2015, they completed an Executive Program in Business Restructuring & Corporate Transactions.

Alberto also holds several certifications from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI). Alberto obtained the following certifications: Tableau Fundamentals in April 2023, SQL Fundamentals in February 2023, Power BI Fundamentals and Power Pivot Fundamentals in September 2022, Construction Finance Fundamentals and Power Query Fundamentals in May 2022, Commercial Mortgages, How to Read a Commercial Real Estate Appraisal, and How to Read a Real Estate Lease and Analyze a Rent Roll in March 2022, Real Estate Financial Modeling in January 2022, Financial Analysis Fundamentals and Real Estate Fundamentals in November 2021, Introduction to Corporate Finance and Math for Corporate Finance in August 2021, Excel Crash Course and Reading Financial Statements in June 2021, and Accounting Fundamentals in May 2021.
