Director Of Risk Analytics at Hippo Insurance

Craig Irving has a significant amount of experience in the insurance and risk analytics industry. Craig began their career at Wellington Underwriting, Lloyds of London, where they worked as an Exposure Coordinator and Risk Management Coordinator, overseeing various catastrophe risk portfolios and refining data collection processes. Craig then joined Benfield as the Vice President of US Catastrophe Modeling, where they managed a team, directed projects, and developed solutions for potential analysis problems. Following this, Irving worked at RMS as a Director of Global Services, where they acted as a service relationship manager for top insurance industry clients, providing consultation and ensuring value recognition. Craig then moved to QBE North America as a VP of Product Management, focusing on catastrophe risk management strategies and working closely with business unit leaders. Irving then joined CoreLogic as a Client Service Relationship Manager, providing consultative support to clients in their use of CoreLogic's models and solutions. Most recently, they are working at K2 Insurance Services as a Product Manager, specializing in catastrophe risk. Irving's diverse range of roles and responsibilities demonstrate their extensive knowledge and expertise in risk analytics and insurance.

Craig Irving completed their education in Business and Finance at De Montfort University from 1991 to 1993. In addition to their degree, they have obtained additional certifications. In February 2022, they became a Certified Extreme Event Modeler from Verisk - extreme event solutions. Prior to that, in June 2020, they achieved certification as a Certified Catastrophe Risk Management Professional (CCRMP) from the International Society of Catastrophe Managers (ISCM) and CAS Institute.
