Kate Faux has over 15 years of experience in brand marketing and strategy. Kate currently works as the Director of Brand Marketing at Hippo Insurance, where they are responsible for transforming the home insurance industry through innovative channel strategies and executions. Kate overhauled the brand strategy and identity to reflect a bold and confident nature, targeting a newly segmented and valuable audience.

Prior to their role at Hippo Insurance, Kate worked as a Brand Marketing Strategy and Campaign Consultant at Kate Faux Marketing. Here, they redefined Sunbasket's brand strategy and values, leading the integration of the new strategy across the organization. Kate also partnered with Omada Health's VP of Brand and Product Marketing and CMO to create their brand strategy.

Kate previously served as the Head of Strategy and Accounts at FlyteVu, where they developed and executed entertainment partnership strategies for retainer clients. Kate also played a key role in implementing new agency processes and revamping training programs.

Before that, Kate worked as an Integrated Marketing Consultant at Lyft, where they supported regional marketing partners and realigned seasonal and holiday initiatives for better brand and business impact. Kate also overhauled the regional market strategy, media, and creative process.

Early in their career, Kate held roles at Barton F. Graf, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Modernista!, and Peerworks, where they gained experience in account management, project management, and advertising and promotions. At Barton F. Graf, they served as the Acting Head of Account/Group Account Director and later as an Account Director, contributing to the agency's exponential growth in revenue.

Throughout their career, Kate Faux has demonstrated a strong ability to drive brand transformation, develop innovative strategies, and lead cross-functional teams.

Kate Faux attended the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Advertising. During the same period, they also pursued a degree in Business with a focus on Marketing/Advertising from the University of Colorado Boulder.
