Anderson Cook

Anderson Cook is an accomplished writer and creative professional with extensive experience in various media. Currently serving as a Writer/Director/Creator at Wondery, an Amazon Company, since October 2021, Anderson conceptualized the YA narrative podcast series ACADEMY. As a screenwriter at Plate Spinner Productions since June 2019, Anderson wrote the feature-length family film FLAT. Co-founding Super Normal Media in August 2021, Anderson has produced award-winning narrative podcasts and managed production logistics. Additionally, as a lyricist for the Broadway-bound adaptation of HAMLET through Discovering Broadway, Anderson collaborated on new songs for the character of Polonius. Anderson's creative journey began with the cult musical POP PUNK HIGH, which was performed in New York from 2016-2018. In a brief teaching role at Borough of Manhattan Community College, Anderson focused on critical reading and writing skills. Anderson holds an MFA with Honors in Dramatic Writing from Carnegie Mellon University and a BFA with Honors in Dramatic Writing from New York University.
