Krista Viita-Aho

Krista Viita-aho has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Krista currently works at HiQ Finland as the Head of PMO and as a Team Lead and Project Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Solteq Plc as a Project Manager for eCommerce and as the Head of Customer Engagement. Krista also held the position of Service/Project Manager, Customer Engagement, where they coordinated the implementation and development of Loyalty and Gift Card services. Before that, they worked at CGI as a Service Manager/Product Owner for Location Based Solutions and as a GIS Specialist. Additionally, they worked at Tekla Oyj as a Software Specialist, at 3D-System as a Technical Documentor, at Affecto as a GIS Operator, and at KONE as a Trainee.

Krista Viita-aho began their education in 1995 at Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu (SYK), where they graduated from high school in 2005. Krista then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Geomatics at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 2005 to 2011. In 2008, they enrolled at Aalto University and earned a Master of Science in Technology, specializing in Cartography and Geoinformatics, which they completed in 2012. During their studies, they also participated in an exchange program at Old Dominion University in 2009, studying Geography within the College of Arts and Letters.

In addition to their academic achievements, Krista Viita-aho has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. These certifications include Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in November 2019, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in September 2019, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) from Scrum.org in August 2018, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2016, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance in November 2014.
