Cody J. Locke

Cody J. Locke serves as Chief Innovation Officer at The Center for Advancing Innovation Inc. since October 2015, leading initiatives to commercialize inventions from NIH/NCI, NASA, and various universities and hospitals, while advising spin-outs and managing training programs for entrepreneurs. As Principal Investigator and Project Director for the U.S. Economic Development Administration since October 2021, Cody leads the Global Health Innovation Challenge aimed at scaling high-growth businesses to combat global health threats. Cody also holds advisory and investment roles in multiple organizations focused on logistics, social impact, and innovative startups, with experience in promoting technology-driven solutions. Cody earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from The University of Alabama.
