Michele Strain

Michele Strain, CPA has over 20 years of experience in public accounting, finance, business consulting, and human resources. Michele started their career at Deloitte as an Auditor in 1994 and worked their way up to become a Senior Manager in Audit. In 2008, they joined PMB Helin Donovan as an Audit Partner, where they provided technical consultation on financial statements, revenue recognition issues, and internal controls. Michele also mentored and developed staff and served as an Executive Board Member. In 2015, they transitioned to Accountability Resources as an Executive Recruiter, specializing in the finance and accounting sector. Michele later became a Partner, Executive Recruiter, and Client Development, helping professionals meet their career goals and assisting companies in finding top talent. Most recently, they have joined HireBetter as the Vice President of Permanent & Retained Search, responsible for client relationships.

Michele Strain, CPA, holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from the Texas McCombs School of Business. Michele also completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the same institution.
