Maria K.

Maria K. has a diverse range of experience in product and UX design. Maria is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at HireRoad since May 2022. Previously, Maria worked at Oros S.A. from November 2020 to April 2022, where they led the UX study and visual design for a large international project focused on bird monitoring and prevention of bird collisions with wind turbines using artificial intelligence.

Maria also worked as a Senior Product Designer (Contract) at the Department of Energy and Climate Change from September 2021 to February 2022. In this role, they worked on an e-learning platform and mobile application, utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to optimize usability and collaborating with various stakeholders to define program requirements and roadmap.

Prior to this, Maria worked as a Senior UX Product Designer (Contract) at Informatic S.A. from October 2019 to April 2020. Maria also gained experience as a UX Product Designer at GadgetStore Ltd from August 2018 to September 2019.

Before specializing in product and UX design, Maria worked as a UX/Web Designer from September 2015 to May 2018, where they designed and redesigned websites and mobile applications across various industries. Maria also worked as a Technical Engineer and Product Designer at Cyta Hellas LTD from September 2012 to December 2014, and as a Web Designer from September 2010 to August 2012.

Maria K. began their education in 2002 when they enrolled at the Computer Science Department of the International Hellenic University. Maria pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree with a focus on Computer Engineering, completing their studies in 2007.

After a gap in their education, Maria returned to their academic pursuits in 2019. Maria attended the UX Design Institute in Glasgow, Ireland and obtained a Certificate in Professional Diploma in UX Design in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Maria obtained the Google UX Design Professional Certificate in February 2022, further expanding their expertise in the field.
