Makoto Chikaraishi

Makoto Chikaraishi is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in the field of transportation. Currently serving as a Professor at Hiroshima University since January 2014, Makoto has previously held the position of Associate Professor at the same institution. Prior to this, Makoto was a JSPS Research Fellow at The University of Tokyo from April 2012 to December 2013 and a Visiting Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University between August 2012 and July 2013. Makoto's academic career began at Hiroshima University, where an Assistant Professorship was held from May 2010 to March 2012. Makoto earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Transportation from Hiroshima University, completing the degree between 2007 and 2010.
