Ernest Hammerschmidt

Ernest Hammerschmidt is a seasoned consultant specializing in incident response, crisis management, and organizational development. Currently serving as a Managing Consultant at HiSolutions since July 2022, Ernest leads cross-functional teams to address cyber incidents and consults on IT management practices and strategic development. Prior to this role, Ernest held various positions at secunet Security Networks AG, including Head of Strategic Project Management and Head of Consulting, where responsibilities encompassed project delivery, team leadership, and alignment with business strategy. Ernest's earlier experience includes consulting on IT security, PKI strategy, and working as a policy advisor, complemented by a diploma in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University and additional training in business mediation and systemic organizational development.
