Christopher de Hoyos has significant experience in communications and marketing roles. Christopher is currently working as the Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing at the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), where they manage communication projects, marketing activities, and grant-related initiatives. Prior to this, Christopher worked as a Marketing & Communications Specialist at UT Health San Antonio, where they developed and implemented comprehensive marketing campaigns and collaborated with leadership to drive brand awareness and growth. Christopher also has experience at HACU as an Assistant Director of Communications and Social Media, managing social media accounts, media relations, and writing/editing communication products. Christopher's earlier experience includes working as the Director of Alumni Relations at St. Anthony Catholic High School, where they focused on fundraising and expanding the alumni program. Christopher has also served as a Manager at Laser Quest, overseeing staff management, recruitment, and customer relations.
Christopher de Hoyos received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio, where they studied from 2005 to 2011. Christopher then pursued further education at the University of the Incarnate Word from 2015 to 2016, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Development and Leadership. In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained various certifications including Content Marketing Certification from HubSpot in July 2020, Advanced Social Media Strategy Training and Certification from HubSpot in May 2020, and Google Analytics certification from Google in September 2019.
