Luisa Nienhaus

Public Engagement Assistant at Historic Royal Palaces

Luisa Nienhaus has a diverse work experience. Luisa began their career in 2012 as an intern at LWL-Museum Für Archäologie, where they worked for two months. In 2013, they completed another internship at the same museum, this time for one month.

In 2015, Luisa joined Historic Royal Palaces as a Ticketing & Admissions Assistant at HM Tower of London. Luisa held this position until October 2020.

In 2016, Luisa started working as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at UCL. Luisa remained in this role until October 2019.

In October 2019, Luisa took on the role of Programme Support Administrator & Researcher for the First World War Centenary Battlefield Tours Programme. Luisa worked in this position until March 2020.

From December 2019 to January 2020, Luisa also worked as a Copyright Researcher for the Belsen 75 Project at UCL Centre for Holocaust Education.

In March 2020, Luisa became a Research Associate at the UCL Centre for Holocaust Education. Luisa held this position until March 2023.

Currently, Luisa Nienhaus is working as a Website Designer at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, starting in April 2023.

Luisa Nienhaus began their education at the University of Aberdeen in 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Celtic Civilization and History. Luisa completed this program in 2013, earning a Master of Arts (hons) degree.

Following their undergraduate studies, Luisa enrolled at UCL in 2013 to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Public Archaeology. Luisa successfully completed this program in 2014.

Currently, Luisa Nienhaus is a PhD candidate at UCL, specializing in Heritage and Museum Studies. Luisa began this program in 2015 and is expected to complete their studies in 2023.
