Melanie Ogbourn (Willis) has a diverse work experience in various industries. Melanie started their career as an HR Coordinator and Recruiter at INTECSEA, a multinational engineering consultancy, where they provided HR services for over 200 staff and contractors. Melanie also implemented the Corporate Responsibility Initiative, managing a team of volunteers and organizing charity events.

Melanie then worked as a Seasonal Kew Palace Guide at Historic Royal Palaces, where they acted as a guide for visitors to historic sites within Kew Gardens. Melanie adapted their communication style based on the audience and wore Georgian period dress.

Melanie later joined the National Centre for Circus Arts as a Personnel Manager, responsible for managing HR services for employees and part-time teachers. Their duties included recruitment, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.

Melanie then worked as an HR Coordinator at Into Film, an education charity that delivers film-related programs for children. Melanie provided HR services for a team of 100 employees across multiple offices and was involved in recruitment and hiring processes.

Melanie also has experience working as an educator and costumed interpreter at major heritage sites such as Historic Royal Palaces and English Heritage properties. Melanie taught education sessions to school groups and conducted interactive performances and skills demonstrations.

Melanie has also worked as a Consultant for Brooklands Museum, where they developed live interpretation offerings and hired a team of costumed interpreters. Melanie researched, wrote, and directed a live costumed offering for summer events.

Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they attended the University of Bath and completed two years of study towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. Melanie then completed their A Levels at The Sixth Form College, Farnborough from 2007 to 2009, achieving outstanding results in English Literature (A), Maths (A), French (A), Drama (B), and General Studies (A). Finally, from 2002 to 2007, they attended The Winston Churchill School and obtained their GCSE qualifications.
