Freelance Artist at Historic Royal Palaces

ΑΝΤΩΝΙΑ ΜΠΑΤΖΟΓΛΟΥ has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. From 2018 to present, they have been working as a Psychologist/psychotherapist and Dramatherapist for the Society of Social Psychiatry and Mental Health. Prior to this, they worked as a Dramaturge/Narrator for The Crossword Ballet from 2014 onwards, collaborating closely with choreographer Symeon Kyriakopoulos. ΑΝΤΩΝΙΑ was also a Freelance Artist for Historic Royal Palaces from 2015 onwards.

From 2009 to 2018, ΑΝΤΩΝΙΑ ΜΠΑΤΖΟΓΛΟΥ held the position of Lecturer, Supervisor, and Mentor at the Central School of Speech and Drama, where they supported the creative and research process of postgraduate students and supervised clinical placements of dramatherapy students in a Mental Health hospital. Additionally, they delivered lectures and workshops on various topics such as practice as research, psychophysical actor training, listening/silence in performance, and ancient Greek dramas.

ΑΝΤΩΝΙΑ also served as a Visiting Lecturer at St Mary's University, Twickenham in 2017, and worked as a Drama and Movement Therapist for Greenwich and Lewisham Young Peoples Theatre from 2015 to 2017, facilitating therapeutic and artistic theatre groups for young people with learning disabilities and mental health problems.

ΑΝΤΩΝΙΑ ΜΠΑΤΖΟΓΛΟΥ has extensive experience in teaching and art therapy, as they also co-taught the Creative Psychotherapy course at Tallinn University Summer School from 2013 to 2017, and worked as a Story Builder/Artist for the Catching Words project at Discover Children's Story Centre from 2010 to 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance artist specializing in working with people living with dementia at the Victoria and Albert Museum from 2015 to 2017, and as an Art facilitator for adults with learning difficulties at TATE Exchange and Lemos & Crane in 2017.

ΑΝΤΩΝΙΑ ΜΠΑΤΖΟΓΛΟΥ completed their Diploma in Acting from Greek Art Theatre Karolos Koun from 2001 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Actor Training and Dramatherapy from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, which they completed from 2008 to 2011.
