Marketing Graphic Designer at Historic Royal Palaces

Tessa Jordens has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Tessa currently works as an Art and Design Teacher in Training at the University of Reading, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Marketing Graphic Designer for Historic Royal Palaces, where they designed and delivered various communications materials. Tessa also has experience as a Graphic Designer for Dorling Kindersley for Penguin Random House, where they created layouts for books and worked closely with team members. Tessa has previously worked as a Graphic Designer for The Vineyard, overseeing all design requirements for the hotel group, and as a Stewardess on private yachts and villas, where they gained skills in customer service and time management. Tessa's earlier experience includes working as a Graphic Design Assistant for Dorling Kindersley for Penguin Random House, where they supported senior editors in designing complex books.

Tessa Jordens began their education in 2003 at St Barts School, where they completed their primary and secondary education. After completing their schooling there, they went on to pursue a Foundation Arts degree in Graphic Design at the University for the Creative Arts from 2010 to 2011. Following this, they enrolled at Arts University Bournemouth to specialize in Publishing under the field of study of Graphic Design, from 2011 to 2014.
