Finnley Rocca's work experience begins in 2018 as a Graduate Archival Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they handled archival and administrative tasks. From 2021 to 2023, Finnley worked as a Circulations Assistant at the Dover Public Library and as a Community Services and Public Aid worker at the Delaware Public Archives. During their time at these positions, Finnley focused on program planning, organizing library materials, and improving accessibility through digitization. They then became an Administrative Coordinator at The Johns Hopkins University, providing support to the GI Pathology program and managing correspondence and document management. Currently, Finnley is working as a Jr. Research Historian at HAI, conducting research, writing summaries, and assisting with records management.

Finnley Rocca obtained a Master's degree in History from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they studied from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their academic qualifications, Finnley earned a certification in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Coursera in August 2020.
