Lindsay Long has a diverse work experience in the field of archiving and project management. Lindsay is currently working as a Supervisory Archivist & Project Manager at History Associates Incorporated, where they lead archival and records management projects for various clients and develops strategies and policies for the archival division. Prior to this, Lindsay held similar roles at Library Systems & Services, LLC and LAC Group, where they worked on digital archiving projects and managed major motion picture studio collections. Lindsay also gained experience as a Lead Metadata Specialist at Zimmerman Associates, Inc. In addition, Lindsay has worked in various library settings, including the University of Southern California and Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), where they developed cataloging skills and learned about the role of libraries in a museum setting. Lindsay's expertise extends to the field of art as well, as they worked as an Art Consultant at Andrei Duman Gallery, where they helped establish a new photography gallery and represented artists. Throughout their career, Lindsay has demonstrated strong project management skills, efficiency improvements, and expertise in curation, storage, and metadata creation.

Lindsay Long completed their education in a sequential manner. In 2007, they enrolled at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Art History, Criticism and Conservation, as well as Anthropology. Lindsay completed their undergraduate studies in 2011. Later on, from 2013 to 2015, Lindsay attended the University of Oregon, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Art History, Criticism and Conservation.
