Bryn Thomas

Bryn Thomas is a mining truck mechanical engineer and product support subject matter expert at Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia since April 2019, specializing in technical support for ultra-large class rigid body dump trucks across Queensland and nationally. Prior experience includes roles as a senior mechanical design engineer and project engineer, focusing on Manned Instrumented Vehicles and siphonic drainage systems. Bryn managed a team of specialists providing OEM support for mining machinery in Australia and New Zealand and contributed to new product development at Hydratight. Bryn holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical and Computer Aided Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University and served as an airframe mechanical technician in the Royal Air Force.
