Philipp Skogstad

Philipp Skogstad is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and design leadership. Currently serving as a Member of the Industrial AI Advisory Council at Hitachi, Philipp has held significant positions such as President and CEO at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc. and Vice President, Chief of Staff to SAP's Chief Design Officer at SAP. Additionally, Philipp has contributed as Head of the Silicon Valley Next Talent Program and Senior Director of Open Innovation at SAP Silicon Valley. Early career roles include Project Specialist in Product Strategy at Volkswagen of America, Inc. and Deputy Director of the Center for Design Research at Stanford University. Philipp holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Design from Stanford University and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen.
