Cara Mazzei

Cara Mazzei currently serves as the Project Communications Director at Hitachi Rail, leading external client and stakeholder relations for the Honolulu project. With extensive experience in consultancy and philanthropy as the President of CM Consulting, Cara has developed corporate philanthropy programs and fundraising strategies for various organizations. Previous roles include Director of Development and Community Relations at YWCA O'ahu, Sr. Associate Director of Philanthropy at The Nature Conservancy, and Director of Development & Events at the Honolulu Museum of Art. Cara's career also encompasses positions at the Hawaii Community Foundation, Pacific Buddhist Academy, Office of Congresswoman Mazie K. Hirono, Yacht Services Management, and YMCA of Honolulu. Educational qualifications include Bachelor's degrees in Communications and Business/Corporate Communications from Emerson College and the University of the Virgin Islands.
