Riya Patil

Riya Patil began their work experience in 2006 as an Internal Sales and Planning Engineer at Tata Steel Processing And Distribution Ltd. Riya later worked as a Process Engineer at Shri Fabricators and as a Technical Calibration Engineer at OSIL. In 2009, they became a Continuous Improvement Manager at KWP INTERIORS LTD. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Safran Landing Systems, where they held multiple roles including Lean Six Sigma Lead & Coach, AGP Skills Program Manager, and Supplier Quality Improvement Specialist. In 2017, they joined Triumph Group as a Business Transformation Consultant and also held the position of Business Mentor at The Growth Hub. Riya served as a Strategic Advisor at AVION Systems Consulting Ltd from 2017 to 2019. Since 2018, Riya has been working at Hitachi Rail, starting as the Head of Business Planning and progressing to the roles of Head of Analysis and Governance - Sales and Bidding, Group Head of Commercial Planning and Governance, and currently the Director of Digital Management Office.

Riya Patil has a diverse education history. Riya obtained a Masters degree in Business Process Improvement from the University of Brighton in 2011. During the same time period, they also pursued a Chartered Manager degree from the Chartered Management Institute and a CAPM certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute.

Prior to their postgraduate studies, Riya Patil completed a Diploma in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute in 2010. Riya also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, which they received in 2006.

Riya Patil also holds certifications as a Chartered Manager from the Chartered Management Institute, a Certified Trainer from Silicon Beach Training, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Claudius Consulting. Lastly, in 2012, they received a CAPM certification from PMI and in 2007, they obtained a CATIA V5R16 certification from Maharashtra Institute of Technilogy, Pune, India.
