Pedro Verruma

Pedro Verruma is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in building and managing technical teams across various companies. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Hive since September 2024, Pedro previously held the position of Head of Engineering at Pleez, where significant achievements included establishing a solid engineering culture and implementing robust development processes in preparation for a series A funding. Prior roles at Talkdesk involved managing AI-focused teams to develop high-performance services, while earlier experience includes founding an image processing service, contributing to AI solutions at CRITICAL Software, and working on backend systems in various capacities. Pedro holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra.
