Jay Alberts

Jay Alberts has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jay currently holds the position of Head of Product at Hivemapper since October 2022. Prior to this, Jay had been self-employed as an Angel Investor since October 2019, where they made angel investments in multiple companies, with a focus on areas such as Enterprise SaaS, Crypto & Blockchain, CleanTech, Healthcare & BioTech, Food & Wellness, Aerospace, AI, and Logistics & Transportation.

From October 2019 to October 2022, Jay served as the Chief Executive Officer of Reel You Inc. Before their entrepreneurial pursuits, they gained valuable experience at ServiceNow, where they held several senior management positions. From July 2018 to October 2019, they served as the Chief of Staff for the HR Product Line. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager in the EMEA Deals Desk from April 2016 to June 2018. Jay also had roles in Financial Planning & Analysis, first as a Senior Manager from July 2014 to April 2016 and then as a Manager from February 2013 to June 2014.

Before joining ServiceNow, Jay worked at EMC (BRS Division) from July 2010 to February 2013, starting as an Associate Financial Analyst and then progressing to roles as a Financial Analyst and eventually Manager of Finance. Jay began their career in 2008 as a Financial Analyst Intern at Data Domain. Jay also had experience as the Advertising Manager at The California Aggie from June 2009 to June 2010.

Early in their career, Jay held the position of Branch Manager at College Works Painting from December 2006 to January 2008. With a diverse range of experiences in finance, management, and entrepreneurship, Jay Alberts brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role as Head of Product at Hivemapper.
