Peter Kovacs, CFA

Peter Kovacs, CFA has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as the Investment Analysis Team Lead at Hiventures, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Investment Manager at Hiventures from November 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining Hiventures, Peter worked at MOL Group, where they served as a Finance Project Manager from August 2018 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating the development of a Group-level end-to-end CAPEX management system, digitalizing and automating financial processes, and supervising Stage Gate processes. Prior to this position, Peter was a Group Resource Allocation Expert at MOL Group from August 2017 to July 2018.

Peter also has experience at OTP Bank, where they worked as an International Subsidiary Coordination Senior Expert from December 2014 to July 2017. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Business Development Analyst at MOL from October 2011 to November 2014. Peter started their career as an Intern at KPMG Advisory from February 2011 to August 2011 and also had an internship at Unicredit from November 2010 to January 2011.

Peter Kovacs, CFA holds a CFA Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. Peter completed their CEMS Master's in International Management at CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education from 2009 to 2014. Peter also attended Corvinus University of Budapest from 2004 to 2011, where they earned a Master's degree in Finance with a specialization in Investment Analysis and Risk Management. In 2010, they completed a CEMS program in Business Administration at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Additionally, Peter participated in an Erasmus semester at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg in 2008 and went on an exchange semester to Saint Petersburg State University in 2007-2008.
