Helia Nazari

Helia Nazari currently serves as a Project Officer for the MENA region at Hivos since January 2024. Previously, Helia worked at Salzburg Global Seminar from November 2021 to January 2024 as a Program Engagement Manager and held the position of Associate in Program and Engagement. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at ZOE Institute for Future-fit Economies and Campaign Manager at Women Political Leaders (WPL), where Helia coordinated the #Girl2Leader Campaign and organized global events for the International Day of the Girl. Additionally, Helia worked as a Programme Assistant for various significant events, including the WPL Summit. Helia's early career involved an internship at Global Counsel, providing clients with insights on public policy and geopolitics. Education includes a Master of Science in Socio-Ecological Economics and Politics from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and International Relations from The University of Sheffield, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from Klosterneuburg international school.
