Ali O'Neil has a diverse range of work experience in various roles. They are currently the Director of Class Action Development and Outreach at HKM Employment Attorneys LLP, a position they started in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Politics and Campaigns Consultant from May 2022 to February 2023. Their experience also includes serving as the Redistricting Director for the Washington State Senate from January 2021 to April 2022, and as a Campaign Manager for Schupp for Congress in 2020, Keep Washington Rolling in 2019, and Friends of Bob Ferguson in 2019. They worked as a Direct Mail Associate at AMS Communications in 2018 and as a Campaign Manager for Jason Rittereiser for Congress from December 2017 to August 2018, and for Jenny Durkan for Seattle from May 2017 to November 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Head Coach for the University of Washington Club Women's Lacrosse team from October 2013 to May 2017.

Ali O'Neil completed their high school education at Fayetteville-Manlius High School from 2004 to 2008. They obtained an Advanced Regents Diploma during this time. After high school, Ali pursued higher education at Cornell University from 2008 to 2012. They earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, majoring in English and French. In 2010, during their time at Cornell University, Ali also studied French literature at Université de Paris for a one-year period.
